On this Mandela Day, Centurion Mall spent their #67minutes with the Us4You Foundation, Centurion Hospice and to the Tshwane SPCA.

The Us4You Foundation was founded in 2010 and is a corporate social investment (CSI) beneficiary of Vodacom. This enabled the Mall to partner with a tenant for Mandela Day. The Foundation aims to uplift the underprivileged communities in all cultures and ethnic groups with their early childhood development (ECD) programmes to add value to their everyday life and help them grow in their own communities.

The Us4You Foundation currently sponsors feeding 254 children daily in Orange Farm and eighty children in Soshanguve.

Centurion Mall extended their helping hand to the Foundation with 67 kid care kits that included a blanket, cloth, fun body foam kit, cookies, sweets and crayons; two baby camp cots as well as a variety of non-perishable foods, which varied from rice, mielie meal, chips and sweets, tea, porridge to name a few.

Centurion Mall supported was Centurion Hospice, which offers a programme of specialised, palliative care to patients with progressive, advanced, or incurable disease from diagnosis. Their programme is holistically designed in so far that we also embrace the patient’s family and loved ones in providing supportive social, clinical, and psychological services throughout the journey and during the bereavement period after the passing of the patient.

Centurion Mall donated 67 care kits which included a blanket, cloth, cream, toiletries, sweet and fruity delights and a body wash. And not forgetting two full loads of non-perishable foods (such rice, mielie meal, coffee, tea, porridge to name a few) as well as toiletries, wheelchairs and strollers.

Tshwane SPCA is a society for the prevention of cruelty to animals that serves and protects animals in the greater Tshwane area for over 100 years. Centurion Mall donated 67 pet kits to the SPCA that included a bag of food, a bowl, a blanket and toys; as well as a variety of pet food to assist the SPCA and they great work they doing to protect the animals.

Centurion Mall sponsored over R150 000 worth of items to the respective beneficiaries to assist with the remarkable work they are doing for the community.
